Problem in program burning

When i connected my kit to my pc using a usb (as my pc doesnt have a serial port) it showed comm port 9,13,15 and 16 in device manager.I changed that in port settings and made it to comm port 2 but still my programs are not burning. Are there more changes that one has to make in port settings or megaload settings???

Increase the speed of megaload to 38400 bps.

Had to change some comm settings...
